Tollywood has been going through the roughest phase over a period of time. Even though few small films have been doing well in the recent past, performance of high budget films is looking ominous.
In the last seven months or so most of the high budget films have gone down the drain without a trace. It was all started with Komaram Puli dismal show and Khaleja joined the league. Later Orange and Parama Veera Chakra too followed. Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu is another major dud at the box office.
Now Shakti joins this disastrous list putting Tollywood in further trouble. Trade circles say that Sakthi buyers will lose more than fifty percent of investment in almost all the regions. These are not good signs going into the key season for films. Hope other biggies that are slated for release in this summer live up to the expectations.
