A massive village set and Bhoot Bungalow set erected near Vikarabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad for the picturisation of ‘Rajanna’ directed by Vijayendra Prasad and produced on the banner of Annapurna Studios was accidentally caught fire on Tuesday night.
The total loss of property was estimated at Rs 70 lakhs. At least seven days of shooting remained balance in the set and it is not yet known whether the set would be re-erected to complete the shooting or make any other alternative arrangement by changing the script accordingly or with the help of any kind of graphics.
A total of 20 days schedule remained balance for ‘Rajanna’ in Vikarabad. As the mercury is going up day by day, the climax shooting of ‘Rajanna’ was postponed till the Europe schedule of ‘Dhamarukam’, the forthcoming film of Nagarjuna
