Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor says her upcoming film Ragini MMS will be the scariest movie till date.
"Ragini MMS will be the scariest movie in India so far. It has the ultimate catch-phrase, ’They didn’t know it then, but it was a threesome’," Ekta told reporters here last evening.
Produced by Ekta, Ragini MMS a horror-thriller film that revolves around a sly shot video of a couple stars Raj Kumar Yadav and Kainaz Motivala who was seen as Taniya in Wake Up Sid.
"I don’t make films to please people. Ragini MMS is not a porn film as it is being made out to be. I believe there is enough audience for horror films," Ekta said.
Directed by Pawan Kripalani, the movie is about a young couple who enter a house to spend a weekend. They are, however, unaware that the house is loaded with hidden cameras. The twist comes when their recorded love-making reveals a supernatural element.
When asked if the film has any resemblance to Hollywood’s supernatural horror film Paranormal Activity, Ekta said, "The film is not like Paranormal Activity…I can say we were inspired by the medium of Paranormal Activity.(PTI)
