Ramanarayanan’s Sri Thenandal Films is all set to release Chutti Chathan for Christmas in digital 3D version. It is a 3D digitalized version of the first 3D film in India My Dear Kuttichathan, which released way back in 1984. The all new Chutti Chathan has additional footage in the form of new actors Prakash Raj and Santhanam who were not part of the original film.
Chutti Chathan has 40 different magic digital 3D effects in its 100 minutes running time. Theatres in Tamil Nadu are getting equipped to screen the film with special 3D system which will enhance the system. The film is likely to release in 70 to 80 screens equipped with the latest 3D system.
