Actor Arjun Rampal is overwhelmed with joy when his acting in Rock On was appreciated and he was acknowledged with the best supporting actor award at the 54th Idea Filmfare Awards. But at the next moment he repents for not mentioning the name of that great personality who has been his big inspiration in his winning speech. The man whom he adores a lot and has been his motivation in life is none other than the superstar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. Later on, Arjun Rampal sent an apology SMS to Big B.
"Later in the night (after the ceremony) he (Arjun) sends me a SMS saying how grateful he was to have me as an inspiration in his life and how sorry he was that he could not name me in his speech because he was overwhelmed by the moment. I am deeply touched," Amitabh posted on his blog on Monday morning from his Prateeksha residence.
Arjun walked away with the Black Lady for his outstanding performance in Abhishek Kapoor’s Rock on in which he played a jobless musician.
"He has really roughed it out in the industry and laboured hard. I advise him never ever to forget the moment that brought on that emotion – that shall and should be his motivation for the rest of his career, I SMSed back," wrote Big B.
