No relief for Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja it seems as his judicial custody has been extended till July 30. Shiney who has been accused of raping his maid servant has been locked at the Arthur Road jail from June 15. On July 2, he was sent to judicial custody then later it extended till July 16 and now again his jail terminal extended for 14 more days. His lawyer Shrikant Shivade put forward the bail application before the court but the prosecution demanded extension of his term in jail as police requires some more time for probing into the case.
The rape was almost confirmed as all the test carried on the culprit and the victim showed positive. On interrogation, Shiney confirmed that he had consensual sex with the maid but the victim filed a case of rape against him. Reports say that the actor has not only raped his maid but tortured her physically as well. He has been held under the IPC Section 376 which deals with rape. For quick justice, Shiney's case has been moved to the fast track court.
